Reservation for In-Person Worship

Dear CLC Family and guests,

Important information:  Please read through to the end.

When will outdoor worship services be offered?

Each Sunday at 8:30 we will worship on the patio.  Please bring your own folding chair and enough for everyone in your family.

Will our on-line services continue?

The on-line service will be live-streamed, with a slight delay. Go to our YouTube channel here at about 10:00 am so that we can worship together. You can also watch the on-line service any time after the livestream has uploaded. We are committed to offering the service on-line for all those who are safeguarding their health. When an FM radio transmission to vehicles is available we will let you know.

While we recognize health-protective measures will make worship feel quite different, we are thankful that until an effective vaccine is developed we can gather:

  • to hear and be fed by God's Word and through the preaching of the Gospel
  • to have time for silent confession and hear the absolution of our sins
  • to be led in the Prayers of the Church and lift up all those in need
  • to declare our faith together
  • to receive the gifts of God's grace both through the promises of Holy Baptism, and through receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion
  • to be led by Grant Rohr and our other talented musicians as our hearts are lifted in praise

How can we safeguard the health of those in higher-risk categories?

We also desire to serve those in higher-risk categories through the on-line service and other ways we reach out with the love of Christ. One example is that we will create a PDF with the Sunday Scriptures and other worship resources and send that out each weekend. If you are safeguarding your health at home, please contact us (949-858-0307) so that we can send you the "Christ in Our Home" or "Daily Bread" devotional.

High-risk categories include, but are not limited to:

  • Aged 65 or older
  • Immune Compromised
  • Diabetic
  • Heart Conditions
  • Lung Conditions
  • Those who have been exposed to others with COVID symptoms
  • Those exhibiting COVID symptoms
  • Please refer to the CDC Guidelines here for further information.

How do I reserve a place for in-person worship?

In order to follow California guidelines for places of worship and safeguard your health, we will be utilizing a reservation system that will limit the number of attendees for the 8:30 AM service.

We ask that all who are planning to attend the outdoor worship service, please register by 3 PM each Friday, so that we can ensure a seating location for you or your family to safely enjoy the service.
