Josiah was born in Flagstaff Arizona and when he turned two moved to China and spent the next five years doing missionary work with his parents. He attended California Lutheran University and graduated with a degree in Christian Leadership and Theology with an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministry and minored in English. As the Director of Youth and Family Ministry Josiah will provide vision, leadership and coordination for ministries of faith formation and discipleship for youth and their families within the congregation and intentional outreach to youth in the community. The core of this ministry is building and strengthening relationships between young people and Jesus, their peers, significant adult mentors and parents. Josiah loves to play the guitar, read, watch movies and play basketball.
Julie was born in Madison, Wisconsin and grew up in the Lutheran church. As a child she lived in Atlanta, Georgia and Ames, Iowa. In 1976, Julie moved to Southern California with her parents and her brother. Currently, she lives in Rancho Santa Margarita. She enjoys cooking, visiting museums, reading and researching. Julie’s position entails administrative duties such as supporting staff members, assisting CLC members, organizing the newsletter, creating monthly volunteer schedules, coordinating altar care, and advertising.
Grant Rohr is active as an accompanist and keyboardist throughout the Southern California area. He received a Master of Music degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1984. Grant was resident accompanist for the Dance Department at the University of California, Irvine for eleven years prior to joining the Music Department at CSUF in 1990. At CSUF he coaches voice majors, and serves as accompanist for the University Singers, the University Chamber Singers, and the Opera Theater. Since 1985, he has been the staff pianist and one of the music directors for the Fullerton Civic Light Opera, where he has been involved in seventy-three productions. He has been a church organist since 1969. Since 1990 Grant has served as organist for Community Lutheran Church of Rancho Santa Margarita.
Linda Bullock was born and raised in southern California. She has two sons, one who is married and a grandson as well. Linda has been a member of CLC for many years and is active in many of the ministries of CLC. One of the ministries that Linda oversees is the Adopt an Angel program. This is a program in which members here are able to give gifts to specific families who are struggling financially.
Tracy was born in New Jersey and moved to California in 1989. She has a BBA in Accounting from James Madison University in Virginia. Before becoming the Treasurer at Community Lutheran Church, she worked as the Controller at Anza Property Management Company in Newport Beach and was the H&R Block Franchise Operations Manager for Annex Marketing in Bischofsheim, Germany. Tracy lives in Rancho Santa Margarita with her husband, Paul, her children Betsy and Brian and her boxer, Luke. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and reading.
Meagan was born and raised in San Juan Capistrano. She attended Purdue University where she received her BA in Creative Writing and Minor in Psychology. Meagan also met her husband, Kyle, at Purdue and upon graduating they moved out to Chicago where they lived for four years. One year before moving back to California, God surprised Meagan and Kyle with two blessings, twin girls Addison and Kelsey. Meagan began her career in banking, but from the moment her children were brought into her life she has since been inspired to work with children as a profession as she is continually amazed at the world through the eyes of a child. She loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, and just laughing.
Kristin is looking forward to a wonderful year at Saddleback Children's Center. She has always enjoyed young children, spending her teenage years babysitting children in her neighborhood and spending time in preschools during college. She received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. Kristin also earned her Master's degree from Northern Arizona University in Bilingual & Multicultural Education. She has taught in an elementary school setting for over ten years and is excited to rejoin the workforce after staying home with her son.
Kristin is a native Arizonian who recently relocated to California with her wonderful husband, Brett and their young son. Their extremely affectionate puggle also came along for the ride. Together they enjoy hiking and spending time at the beach.
