How we care for our worship guests with covid precautions
We follow CA guidelines for Places of Worship including the
Regional Stay at Home order. From the CA Guidelines Q & A:
Can I go to church?
Yes. Places of worship such as churches, mosques, temples, and synagogues can open throughout the state, with modifications for safety. In counties in the Widespread (purple) tier, indoor services in places of worship must be discontinued but outdoor and online services are permitted.
Our 8:30am service is outdoors on the patio in the open air.
We deep clean our campus sanitizing bathrooms, doorknobs, and light switches and all common surfaces.
Our 10:00am service is offered as a Livestream experience for worship at home.
We encourage everyone to self-check for symptoms before arrival.
Seating outdoors is in lawn chairs with at least six feet of physical distance.
People who share a household may be seated together.
We take temps of all attending including worship leaders and volunteers.
A facial covering will be required (and will be handed out to all who need one).
We have trained volunteers who follow careful procedures for risk mitigation.
We have posted signs with related precautions.
Hand sanitizer will be easily accessible.
Offering plates will be stationed at the entrances. Online giving is encouraged.
Our nursery is not currently open.
We send a clear message: “Do not attend a service if you are not feeling well, have a fever, or have had direct contact with someone who likely has or is confirmed to have COVID-19.”
